Competitions

The regional selection for the best apprentice pastry chef for Ile de France will be held at the School on 26th November 2007. The School will have two candidates in the running, who will present artistic pieces on the following theme: “The 30th Anniversary of the Best Apprentice Competition”.

Young bakery Entrepreneur award 2007

Do you dream of opening your own bakery? Do you have an entrepreneurial spirit? Do you want to assess your skills? The Young Bakery Entrepreneur Award enables every candidate to do this.

The practical exam will be held at the School in October, and the apprentices will present their projects to a jury of professionals.

Our students on the move!

Our young Pro Bac students will spend 15 days in Germany, in a professional School in Munich with whom we have regularly carried out exchanges over the last ten years.

Two professional study trips are planned for 2008: one to Great Britain, on the theme of bakery; and one to Belgium, for chocolate making.

Practical work is planned in 2008 with the Food Service Apprentice Training Centre in Alençon as part of the “cross-industry” subject covered in the Pro Bac course.

Business acquisition course

This year, the EBP and Grands Moulins de Paris are launching the first course specially designed for people taking over an existing bakery.

Taken at the same time as a Bakery CAP course, students will follow technical modules adapted to their business acquisition project.
