Bakery Mention Complémentaire (MC)

If you are a baker and you want to perfect your knowledge and obtain a Brevet Professionnel (BP) then this course is for you?

Our specialised Bakery MC course is a state-recognised level V course recorded with the RNCP*. This course allows students to split their time between the School and work experience, in order to put into practice the skills acquired at the School while familiarising themselves with the world of work, its atmosphere, its codes, and its pace. Only in French.

Once they graduate, apprentices will be highly qualified professionals who master the production of all types of speciality bread and viennoiserie products.

They will be familiar with all types of traditional products and specialties. They will be able to prepare the products and present them attractively, and check and evaluate the quality of finished products. They will be capable of producing special orders and high-quality work even when working autonomously. Are you ready to live your passion?

Eligible candidates:

Young people aged 29 or under with a vocational diploma (patisserie CAP or BEP, or a bakery-patisserie Bac Pro majoring in patisserie)

Duration and pace:

One-year sandwich course: 10 weeks at the School between September and June, the rest of the time working in a bakery or patisserie

Conditions of admission – Applicants must:

Have an identity card or an official residence permit that authorizes them to work in France
Have a vocational diploma (patisserie CAP or BEP, or a bakery-patisserie Bac Pro majoring in patisserie)
Pass the placement test
Sign an apprenticeship contract

Cost:

Free course, excluding cost of professional clothes and briefcase (approx. €350). An order form will be provided by the School with a letter sent before the start of the new school year

Salary:

The apprentice’s monthly salary is calculated as a percentage of the minimum wage, depending on their age and year of study
