POE
On the initiative of industry representatives, group training sessions are sometimes set up to help companies find a match for their recruitment needs.
Only in French.
Only in French.
Objectives:
The POE course allows jobseekers to acquire the skills needed for specific jobs identified by industry trade agreements or the directors of an OPCO (vocational training funding agency).
Beneficiaries:
Any jobseeker registered with Pôle Emploi (French governmental employment agency) who has been offered a job requiring the acquisition of additional or complimentary skills through training.
How to benefit from a POE:
If you own a company in the bakery/patisserie industry and you have significant unmet recruitment needs you can ask your OPCO or industry representative to create a POE course. The OPCO or industry representative signs an agreement with a training body to train candidates referred by Pole Emploi. We can help you with POE including the recruitment of candidates referred by Pole Emploi and the development the training course.
Content of the programme:
The beneficiaries follow a course, which may include work experience, which aims to help them acquire the skills needed to hold down a position for which there are identified recruitment needs. Jobseekers aged 26 or under can follow a course in a CFA (apprenticeship training centre). Pôle Emploi, the “mission locale”, and the training institute follow the beneficiaries throughout their course and until they are recruited. The POE aims to make employees sustainably employable. After the course, beneficiaries can be recruited on open-ended contracts, on short-term contracts of at least 12 months, on apprenticeship contracts, or on a “contrat de professionnalisation” of at least 12 months.
Duration of the programme:
A maximum of 400 hours, full-time or part-time. The work experience period must not exceed one third of the total duration of the course.
